Bills at Titans Preview

Time: October 13, 6 p.m., CBS

Location: Nissan Stadium

Line: Bills -3.5

Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans will take on the AFC East leading Buffalo Bills on a rare Tuesday night game (due to the COVID-19 Pandemic). The Titans will be playing for the first time in over two weeks. The Bills are coming into the matchup 4-0 lead behind quarterback Josh Allen.

Titans Keys to Victory

1. Stopping Josh Allen: Allen has earned the honor of having his name in the MVP conversation with his play so far this year. What makes Allen so dangerous is his escape ability and mobility with his legs. He also has one of the strongest arms in the NFL and improved accuracy. The Titans will have to contain Allen.

2. Being efficient in the run game: The Bills have one of the most talented all-around defenses in the entire NFL. Derrick Henry will need to have one of his vintage games to pull out a win.

3. Limiting deep shots in the pass game: With the addition of star receiver Stefon Diggs the Bills have a legit deep pass threat in their offense. The Titans have struggled so far containing deep-shot playmakers this season so far.

Bills Keys to Victory

1. Keeping Josh Allen rolling: Allen has been so effective this year with his running and mobility. This year, Allen is in showing he can be a top-tier quarterback if he does not turn the ball over. If Allen continues his play, the Bills have a good shot to get a win on Tuesday night.

2. Slowing down Derrick Henry: Stopping Henry will always be a key to beating the Titans. The Bills defense has proven to be able to slow down opposing team’s running backs and key playmakers.

3. Hitting on the deep shots: Diggs and Allen so far are proving to the entire NFL that they are one of the best deep-target combinations in the league. If Diggs and Allen can hit on some more big plays against a weak Titan secondary, the Bills can get another win.

My Prediction: The Buffalo Bills will stay undefeated and come to the Music City and snag a win on Tuesday night against the Titans. With the Titans only being able to meet virtually due to positive COVID tests and then only getting to have a two-hour practice with limited staff on Monday, it just feels too much to overcome.
