Schedules shift for WCMS, Covenant

What was supposed to be a full slate of games Tuesday night turned into a washout.

Both the WCMS volleyball and soccer teams postponed matches originally scheduled for tonight, while Covenant was unable to travel and play Lancaster Christian.

The WCMS volleyball team didn’t make its trip to Shelbyville Harris. The match has been moved to Thursday, Sept. 24. Likewise, the WCMS Lady Pioneer soccer team stayed at home instead of making a trip to face Franklin North. The match has been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 17.

The rescheduled date for soccer will be varsity only.

Lancaster Christian had to postpone Tuesday’s matchup with the Lady Lions due to illness.

Covenant is scheduled to play at home Thursday against Highland Rim at 5 p.m. The WCMS volleyball and soccer teams are set to play White County Thursday. The volleyball team tips off at 5 p.m. and the soccer team kicks off at 5:30 p.m.
