Security Federal Athlete of the Week: Oct. 24-30
Partnering with Security Federal, the Warren County Sports Authority will honor a standout local athlete each week. The WCSA and the Friendliest Bank in Town love seeing great athletic achievement and there are plenty to pick from every week in Warren County. From winter to summer, spring to fall, and on courts, fields, diamonds, dance floors and anywhere else an athlete can succeed, Security Federal and the Sports Authority are going to be on the lookout for the best of the best!

Lady Bronco Krista Chisam
Krista Chisam keeps racking up accolades. Last week, she was named second-team, all-state by the TSIAA. Over the weekend, she was the tournament MVP as the Lady Broncos won the TNCAA championship and also was the game MVP in the TSIAA finals.
Now, Chisam is the Security Federal Athlete of the Week!
Chisam completed a stellar sophomore season for Boyd volleyball team on a high note. Her ability was evident in each postseason victory, including a huge road win at Covenant last week. Chisam plays with a poise of a senior despite being one of the youngest Lady Broncos on the court.
Chisam's serving is electric, full of steam and accuracy that can pick opposing teams apart. She flies around on defense and is always in the right spot to make a pass as the team's primary setter.
Adding Chisam to the roster this season (she transferred from WCHS in the spring) was a huge step in getting Boyd on a championship path.
"Krista is a top-notch athlete and it feels great to have that recognition for our school. We are honored to have her at Boyd," said Boyd coach Amanda Key after Chisam's all-state nod.
Be on the look out for Chisam at JK Stanley Gymnasium over the new few years. She has become a full-fledged star for the Lady Broncos.
