Titans at Jaguars
Tennessee Titans (8-4) at Jacksonville Jaguars (1-11)
Time: noon, CBS
Location: TIAA Bank Field Jacksonville, Florida
Line: TEN -7.0
The Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars will meet up today after both teams came up short last week. The Titans are coming off a loss to the Cleveland Browns, who were able to put up a bunch of points last week. The Jaguars are coming off an overtime loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Titans Keys to Victory:
1. King Henry: Derrick Henry will need to get back to his MVP ways on Sunday for the Titans to get a much-needed win. Last week, the MVP candidate only had 60 rush yards on 15 attempts - though the Titans were down 17-0 so quick they had to abandon the run game.
2. Protecting the Rock: The Titans lost two fumbles last week against the Browns which led to points. The Titans need to take care of the ball and not give an underdog team chances to get some momentum and put more points on the board with an already struggling Titans defense.
3. AJ Brown and Corey Davis: The duo receivers should be able to have a big game on Sunday. Brown and Davis have shown that when they have it going, they are a deadly combo. Davis had 11 receptions and 182 yards last week against the Cleveland Browns.
4. Rush defense: James Robinson has been a bright spot for the Jaguars offense. Robinson is third in total rush yards this season with over 960 yards. The Titans will have to make sure that he does not run all over them on Sunday afternoon.
Prediction:
The Titans will come away with a much-needed win on Sunday afternoon. The offense will be to much for the Jaguars defense to handle and the defense will get back on track after a miserable showing last week. Look for Corey Davis and AJ Brown to have big days.
